August 8, 2009, Canmore Alberta
The Ha Link Peak of Mt. Lawence Grassi
The peak is 2408 meters, 7,900 feet
Vertical climb is 1,100 meters!

View of Canmore from almost the top

Robert at the top!

Patrick jamming out - getting some air time.

Tanner "flying" down the side of the mountain.

At the summit - Tanner, Rob and Bruce, looking west toward Banff

What to do next? Spray Lakes in background.

Robert did a little mountain climbing....

This shows you how steep it is, almost a 45 degree angle the entire way up.

And there are lots of flowers to brighten the trip.
Mt. Yamnuska, Canada Day, July 1, 2009
with sons Robert and Patrick
7,349 feet (2240 m) elevation gain of 2,953 feet,(900 m)
1/3 of the way up looking south east along the Bow River Valley
Robert at the same ledge!
Rock star Patrick
This is exciting - how high can we climb?
Half way up - the first peak
July 18/09 Second Trip
Robert, Patrick and Tanner - all the way up and around

Robert going for a unique shot of Tanner and Patrick on a ledge

Checking the rock face view out!

Me too, wait up.

Alright, I want to do that too. Check out the muscles!

This was exciting, using the splitting cable to get around the ledge.

On the peak, getting ready to come down.

That is a very long ways down, maybe I will back up a bit.

Running and sliding fown, almost like a desert up there.

See, I told you it was a long way down!

You can barely see others ahead of us. A great way to slide down the rock face.

A cool drink of water from a small water fall.
